REV 16:8 Signs With AFM RECORDS
December 22, 2010REV 16:8 — the Swedish metal band formerly known as BLOODSHED — has inked a deal with Germany's AFM Records. The band's second album, "Ashlands", is scheduled for release on April 8, 2011. The CD was recorded at Necromorbus Studio (WATAIN, NOMINON, AVERSE SEFIRA, FUNERAL MIST, MORK GRYNING, ADORIOR) in Alvik, Sweden between May and July 2010 and was mixed and mastered by Sverker Widgren. The cover artwork and layout was handled by Rafael Tavares. Guest vocals on the track "The Chase" were provided by Acerbus of ONDSKAPT.
REV 16:8's "Flame Salvation" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot by Dino Medanhodzic in the old ruins located next to the Haga Park in Stockholm.
"Flame Salvation" comes off REV 16:8's full-length debut, "Grand Tidal Rave", which was released in July 10, 2009 via Temple Of Darkness Records. Check out audio samples on the group's MySpace page.
